Artist Maurice de Vlaminck (11876-1958)

Artist Maurice de Vlaminck was a French-born artist well known for his use of intense color. Generally perceived as a Fauvist, Mr. de Vlaminck primarily painted with oils on canvas. His 1912 “Village” and “At the Bar” and “Man Smoking Pipe”-both painted in 1900- are amongst his better known works.

Influenced greatly by the works of Van Gogh, the paintings of Mr. de Vlaminck have been highly admired and collected worldwide.

Artist Milton Avery (1885-1965)

Artist Milton Avery was an American born artist whose first solo exhibition was in 1944. Shown and collected worldwide, Mr. Avery was elected a fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences in 1963. One of his best known works was his “Green Sea”, painted with oils on canvas.

Art critic Hilton Kramer described Mr. Avery as “…without question our greatest colorist…Among his European contemporaries, only Matisse…produced a greater achievement in this respect.”

Artist Julio Larraz (1994-present)

Julio Larraz  was born in Havana, Cuba, moving to the United States in 1961. A sculptor, artist, caricaturist and printmaker, Mr. Larraz has art in collections across the world.

In 1975, Mr. Larraz won the Cintas Foundation Fellowship awarded by the Institute of International Education. Two years later he was awarded the Acquisition Prize Childe Hassam Purchase Exhibition by the American Academy of Arts and Letters in New York City.

Artist Sarkis Antikajian (1933-present)

Born in 1933 in the Middle East, Sarkis Antikajian immigrated to the United States in 1958. Mr. Antikajian worked for 35 years as a pharmacist then became a professional artist, working in oils, watercolors, pastels and inks. His subject matter varies amongst figurative, landscapes, still life and abstracts but is nearly always lively and quite colorful.

Mr. Antikajian is also a published author and his art can be found in galleries and private collections throughout the world. To view some of his excellent work, his website is: .
