Black-capped Chickadee

The playful Chickadee is the state bird of Maine and Massachusetts and the provincial bird of New Brunswick, Canada. My Little Chickadee was a popular 1940 movie starring Mae West and W.C. Fields which may have served to endear the cute, little Black-capped Chickadee to the general public.
