Color Reversed Jabiru Stork

The tallest flying bird of South and Central America, adult males can reach 5 feet tall. Both parents build nests and incubate the young. Jabiru Storks live near rivers and ponds and feed in flocks. These colorful and majestic birds enjoy protected status in Belize and also under the U.S. Migratory Bird Act. This painting is entitled Color Reversed Jabiru Stork because it is a photographic negative image of the Jabiru Stork I painted with a dark beer.
