Todays Favorite Funky Art: Taos

Taos is a colorful representation of the feeling in New Mexico, a large state with stucco and adobe structures, great art communities and a rich cultural history. The energy around Taos is upbeat and funky-a great place to enjoy the outdoors, art and good food. Taos is intended to reflect a fun-loving, tourist vibe.

Taos was painted using a Shock Top Belgian White from Shock Top Brewing in St. Louis, Missouri. Enjoy your own limited edition Taos print now by going to the Shop Our Art section, clicking on the Modern and Abstract category then on the Taos image and following the prompts through checkout!

Kaiser Sunnyside Show Ends Soon

Taos 16X20The exhibit of 10 pieces of BeerColors™ solarized art, created by Ron Pomeroy, currently showing at the Kaiser Sunnyside Hospital Gallery (behind the cafeteria) ends on October 6, 2016. The exhibit, sponsored by the Clackamas County Arts Alliance Artist Exhibit Program, (www.clackamasartsalliance.org) began in early July. This is the second year Mr. Pomeroy has displayed his BeerColors™ art through this program which exhibits in approximately 20 public venues throughout Clackamas County, Oregon.

Taos (shown above) is a part of the CCAA exhibition. Taos was created using a Shock Top Belgian White from Shock Top Brewing in St. Louis, Missouri. After the painting was created, a solarized photograph of the piece was then taken. We thank Sue Allen and the rest of the folks at the Clackamas County Arts Alliance for providing this great program which allows relatively new artists to publicly showcase their work!
