Taos is a colorful representation of the feeling in New Mexico, a large state with stucco and adobe structures, great art communities and a rich cultural history. The energy around Taos is upbeat and funky-a great place to enjoy the outdoors, art and good food. Taos is intended to reflect a fun-loving, tourist vibe.

The Clackamas County Arts Alliance continues to display art from BeerColors™ artist Ron Pomeroy in it’s Artist Exhibit Program! Ten of his pieces have been selected for exhibition in the lobby of the Clackamas County Public Services Building. The display will run only until March 7, 2017 !

Taos (shown at left) was one of the 10 paintings chosen for the exhibition. Among the other 9 paintings chosen by the CCAA jury for exhibition were City at Night, Carpie Diem, Warm Ocean Tide and Savannah Marsh, all of which are available for purchase through this website by just going to Shop Our Art, clicking on Abstract/Modern or Funky Art on Medal and following the prompts.

Kaiser Sunnyside Show Ends Soon

Taos 16X20The exhibit of 10 pieces of BeerColors™ solarized art, created by Ron Pomeroy, currently showing at the Kaiser Sunnyside Hospital Gallery (behind the cafeteria) ends on October 6, 2016. The exhibit, sponsored by the Clackamas County Arts Alliance Artist Exhibit Program, (www.clackamasartsalliance.org) began in early July. This is the second year Mr. Pomeroy has displayed his BeerColors™ art through this program which exhibits in approximately 20 public venues throughout Clackamas County, Oregon.

Taos (shown above) is a part of the CCAA exhibition. Taos was created using a Shock Top Belgian White from Shock Top Brewing in St. Louis, Missouri. After the painting was created, a solarized photograph of the piece was then taken. We thank Sue Allen and the rest of the folks at the Clackamas County Arts Alliance for providing this great program which allows relatively new artists to publicly showcase their work!

Our Art at Kaiser Hospital from July 7-October 6

Taos 16X20Our BeerColors™ artist, Ron Pomeroy, will be displaying 10 of his solarized photographic prints of BeerColors™ art, made using beer and wine. The exhibition will be displayed at the Kaiser Sunnyside Hospital Gallery (by the cafeteria) from July 7-October 6, 2016.

The BeerColors™ art of Mr. Pomeroy is shown through the Clackamas County Arts Alliance  Artist Exhibit Program (www.clakamasartsalliance.org), which displays art in well over a dozen public buildings throughout Clackamas County, Oregon. Mr. Pomeroy also displayed his art through this excellent program during 2014/5.

Taos (shown above) was created with a good tasting Deschutes Inversion IPA from Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon and then photographed using a solarized process. Taos is one of the ten professionally framed solarized photographic prints that will be displayed at Kaiser Sunnyside Hospital. All can be purchased through the program or, purchased unframed, by going to the Modern and Abstract drop down category under Shop Our Art, clicking on the image then following the prompts.
