Tomorrow is India Pale Ale Day!

663 Celebrate web HiDefLondon brewer George Hogson is credited with inventing India Pale Ale back in the 1700’s. At that time, it was difficult for beers to remain tasty during the long voyages of British sailors. Sensing the British could not continue to successfully rule the seas without access to better beer, Mr. Hogson created the process that sustained the taste and viability of beer which was then used in the important British trade route with India. India Pale Ale took its name from the color of the beer and the trade route to India. IPA’s remain a very popular type of beer over 3 centuries later! Hoist a toast to Mr. Hogson tomorrow in honor of his success!
